One year and 1000th post...
Wow, what a year. I am posting under my 1000th post and (almost) one year of being apart of TTP and residency to boast about how TTP has changed my out look in gaming and team play.
When I first found TexasTeamPlayers, I knew I found a new home away from home. I believe the founding of TTP for me was when I found the demo to BF2142. Instantly, I fell in love with the type of team play structure and the most decent graphics to boot for a game that I was longing for. Not a week later I went and bought 2142, installed, and began pubbing. Weeks went by and I played and played, died, and died again. Dealing with nothing but non-team play ass haters that put the game and others like it to shame. I had a few favorites to go to but still wasn't satisfied. I found TexasTeamPlayers on the search list and decided, what the heck, let's give it a try. Got into game and started hearing people talking! WTF I said! (I didn't even know there was such thing as VOIP) It threw me for a loop. I instantly went out a bought a mic!
The team play was beyond standard and the people were friendly and competitive. I quickly added it to my favorites along with charvel, redeye, and laggy. The last thing I remember before indulging in the life of TTP forums was laggy telling me to register. This was in 08-07-2007!
I have since stayed for reasons everyone knows that keeps us here. I have been in the banned forums posting an unban realizing that I DO NOT want to jeopardize such a great place to play. I went on to join the 5th residency clan since 10-04-2007 and have made many many friends along the way.
The admin base is also top notch for keeping the servers that TTP host, hacker and non team play free. This is the key to keeping the peace and prosperity of a great gaming community. Without this and everyone that plays there part in holding the bar high, the great gamers out there that do not need to hack, that play on pure skill and team work, I would have never looked back and kept on moving to server after server.
In closing, I have to say that I have been through allot here at TTP... I am here to stay, to help aid in the growing numbers here at TTP that also love what all of us gamers here love, TEAM WORK! Thanks TTP and to who all it may concern..
