Tomorrow I leave for Austin to visit a good friend of mine that moved there last summer from California. We'll probably have stuff to do everyday but I'm sure some of you guys are from there and have any suggestions on stuff to do or stuff that I shouldn't miss. No, I'm not 21 which means no 6th Street (I think thats right)...lame.

any suggestions would be appreciated and even though I'm leaving butt early tomorrow I'll be able to check the TTP forums there.

hey bro, I'll be in ATX all week.. PM me for my cell or whatever.. If you were 21 Id say go downtown.. if your 18 you can get into some and go grind on some ass or whatever...

ummm.. Frisbee golf ?? lots of courses in austin.. zilker park is a big one..

check out austin360.com and see if they have a list of events... otherwise look up the austinchronical news paper and they have a list of all the shows and concerts on 6th street... (you should be able to get in)

see if there are some bands you like or somthing.. otherwise hit up ole alpinestar I guess.. I'll be around sukka

Still some cool shit to do on 6th Street, even if you're not 21. You should check out Oilcan Harry's for a good time.

Anyway, tons of cool little shops and shit on 6th Street, with stuff ranging from crazy ninja swords to piercing/tat shops to hemp shops and, well, anything, really. And some bars will let you in as long as you're 18, they just charge you double cover and X your hands. Some good music to be heard there as well. When I lived there we used to just wander up and down the street until we heard something we liked coming out of one of the bars. Went in, checked it out, had a few drinks, left, rinse and repeat. Good times, good times. :9

Thanks for the tips guys. I've gone jet skiing, cliff jumping, swimming and all sorts a sweet stuff. I went downtown last night and checked out 6th street, it was pretty cool...would have been better to be 21 though

Also I noticed that there are a lot of babes here in Austin...maybe even more than in California, is it like that everywhere in Texas? hahah

in my experience, yes. dfw has some of the hottest women that i've ever seen, but you'll need a nice bankroll to afford the new clothing line you'll need to party up there with them. austin i think has it locked down for the hottest college girls in texas. and pick any weekend, roll up in the party cove next to the 360 bridge on lake-a, or devil's/lil devil's on travis, and you wont be disappointed.
