Cleric inspired me to think about another meetup in the fall and after I juggled some ideas around I settled on a bonfire meetup. It would be a great time to get together away from busy bars and noisy clubs. My folks have 20 acres just north of College Station. I've been moving brush for a couple of weeks so there is a bonfire pile already nearly 15 ft tall and a nice open field to pitch tents out. My friends have a couple of atv's they can bring out for TTP field racing. We can shoot some skeet and nutria/turtles or targets out in the field before it gets dark. There is also a 3 acre tank w/ an island. Mostly catfish in it, but some perch we can pick at too if we wanted to fish. We can BBQ some brisket and some pig too, so there will be plenty of grub. Throw in a couple of kegs and some jungle juice, we'll be set for a great night of fun. I was thinking november, but I need to know if before or after thanksgiving would be better for everyone.

Thanksgiving is thursday the 27th, veterans day is tuesday the 11th, election day is tuesday the 4th.

I think my vote is for the 29th and 30th(saturday and sunday). There will be no moon on that weekend. I really hope we can work this out, it sounds like alot of fun. The 15th and 16th will be a full moon.

Hell thats around my b-day. Maybe I can take some time off and cruise out from cali with Ewok! (If he wants / can). Whats the word on bringing your own "offroad toy". Mine is small, but will dig you a sprinkler ditch and its only 96db! haha... *crosses fingers*

Full moon on the 15th and 16th? Sounds good to me. 8)

But since Flea's gonna be headlining this shit, I suppose I'll jump behind whatever he ends up deciding on. I just wanna drink beer and burn things. :9

That's a probably 15 hr drive for me.... not sure I can handle another one so soon.

That sounds like lots of fun, novemeber weekends means highschool football fridays and sat morn film. We will see lets get a date.

Since we had the "official TTP Meetup" already this year...is this a meetup, official, where people need to like plan and stuff to come? or is this a "hey, we're having a bonfire and beer party, open to all TTP'ers who're up to it"?

Option one sounds like a big huge planned out family reunion organized by your OCD aunt (yes, we all have one)...

option two sounds like a few buddies chillin and partyin a bit...
