Yea ATL for sure. For those of you that may need help with the funds Kevin's Ace Hardware LLC may be able to help (depending on how things turn out with my store). As of right now I'm thinking of sometime in May. Doing a 2 night thing. Meet up and eat at the hotel (in a conference room) on the 1st day. Go to the Aquarium, then Dave and Busters, come back to hotel to eat (on top of hotel in the rotating restaurant (FYI $50 worth of credit on food per day)). The order of things is just to list what i've planned so far and are subject to change due to time.

In order to get a discount rate at the Aquarium we need atleast 25 people going.
Reg price: 26.00
Hotel cost:
2 double beds- $276.00 or 139.00 a person
1 King or Queen- $276.00
There are cheaper hotels, this one is like right next door to everything but dave and busters. Plus you get $50 worth of food a day for free+ the already free breakfast buffet.

So in the end $200.00 a person plus another $400.00 for those of you who plan to drink($50 for drinks and $350 for me to take you back to hotel) lol


Any ideas or things you like to see added i can do some more hotel research if you guys want.

This sounds awfully familiar to plans already set forth or at least discussed in this thread.

Instead of hosting a separate meetup, why not help with this one? You seem to have already done some of the research and are hosting it in the same location we were planning on holding this one.

And May might work better for everyone. I think more people need to pay attention to this thread and actually make a vote. Thoughts, comments?

I do think it is a little similar and find it a little rude to come in here and post on this one in order to get people away from what we were planning, into what you are planning. Yours does sounds like it could end up being a better time because of the sources provided to you and the credit and all that jazz that I can't provide, but it was still inconsiderate to just post here and undermine what I was planning. If you would've spoken with me first and tried to maybe combine the two I wouldn't have a problem, but that isn't what you did. v_v...

I didn't go with may because we don't know when the TTP summer meetup is, and I wanted to make sure it was far enough away time wise, that it wouldn't interfere with people's funding and transportation and such. Hence why it is early in the year.

Even if mine does drop or everyone attends yours, or they merge, or whatever... I wouldn't be able to attend because I don't have 200 bucks to just throw away at that. :P
