Great News for Comic Book Movie Fans

It seems that they are going to re-restart the Superman movie franchise rather than continuing from Superman Returns. The success of The Dark Knight seems to have made them rethink their strategy.

Also, they halted the Justice League Movie so that they can come out with individual superhero movies to lead up to it like they are doing with The Incredible Hulk, Ironman, Thor, and Captain America before making The Avengers movie.

This is all great news in my opinion. I wanted so bad to like Superman Returns but it was ultimately a disappointment. There was too much love story and Superman getting his butt kicked by Luthor. I want to see them make the movies like they are making the Batman movies...with more of a serious adult tone to them and with greater stories and characters. The only downside is that I can't take my boys to see it.

It's a good day to be a comic book movie fan.

Damn strait... that movie looks like it will rape all comers.

I am so glad that they are finally making more adult comic book (or should i say graphic novel) movies. Its about damn time they moved away from that goofy shit they were making before. I cant wait to see what they do with some of these up in coming movies... especially Green Lantern.
