CZ .40
Hey guys, we actually just got a new CZ .40....brand new...traded an old S&W model 66 (pre lock...still pinned and recessed) that was in great condition for it...
we get to shoot it this weekend :-P
I'm actually quite excited...my dad said that if I enjoy it enough, it might actually be put on "don't trade away status" to be my own personal gun :-P (yeah, I sound like a little kid...but I'm 19...so I'm a slightly-not-as-little-kid)
what're your opinions of it?

Re: CZ .40
I love saying, "Czech out my CZ!" I'm madly in love with CZs. A true fan till the end. I have a CZ 75B Stainless and it has been one of the best handgun purchases I've ever made.
Do you have a CZ40B, CZ40P, CZ75 in .40 or a 2075 RAMI in .40? There's a ton of variations, so I'm not sure which one you are referring to. Anyways congrats on the buy and pics + range report are required sir.
It will probably shoot anything you feed into it well, but I recommend trying some DoubleTap ammo to start. Always had good groupings with it...

Re: CZ .40
I BELIEVE its a .40P...but don't quote me on that...
yeah, dunnoe about pics, but I'll def bring a range report if I get to sneak outta work to go this weekend.
it was weird...it feels good in my hands, but I normally go by the theory "the bigger the bullet, the better"...yet my favorite gun I've ever shot is a Bursa .380....lets see if it can take that spot :-P
(note: the bursa .380 is a Walther PPK clone...one reason we got it. it will fit in PPK holsters)

Re: CZ .40
What I found interesting, is my father told me that the Magnum Research Baby Eagle (baby desert eagle) is actually their version of the CZ....
I freakin LOOOVE how the slide recesses into the handle/frame....totally seems like it would make it easier to handle.
