Anyone watch the daily show last night? They had their lady correspondent talk to people at the RNC about Palins daughter's pregnancy. She asked random people what they thought about the way Bristol and her family handled it. The responses were all basically:

"It was a private decision made by the family and the media shouldn't have gotten involved blah blah blah"

At this point the Samantha Bee tried to get the people to say the word choice. And hilarity ensued. The people being interviewed realized they had talked themselves into a corner and couldn't say that Bristol Palin had made a choice as well as being anti-abortion.

Now while it was funny to watch, it makes a key point. Palin has made it clear that it was her family's decision (read: choice) to keep the baby. At the same time, she is running on a platform that would remove that choice from her and her daughter's hands.

Make your own decision about what your view on that is, but I'll go ahead and inform you that that would be the definition of hipocrisy.

That show's only good when John Stewart and co. stop trying to push the Democratic party and actually try their hand at comedy instead of forcing out the normal shit they do. Still, it's better than the Blue Collar Comedy Tour most of the time (except for the guy who drinks and smokes cigars; "you can't fix stupid").

You're right I don't need to partake of either. Google does my spell checking for me, and Fall Quarter has started again. It seems like there are a lot of hot girls this year. I even have a physics class with two of them (2 more than normal, generally it's a sausage fest). Life is good. :10

Well if you ever watched it you might see that they are actually quit even handed when dishing out their stuff. Last week at the RNC, guess who they were making fun of? (Rhymes with emocrats). I'd also like to point out that the Republicans put out no shortage nonsense which is easy to make fun of.

The key point here is not the percieved bias of the daily show. Its the point I made in the post and you ignored and attacked the source instead.

I actually used to watch the show everyday for 4 straight years, and then I decided that instead of watching something that wasn't making me laugh, I could be playing on TTP, sleeping, or listening to music.

And who's to say that I didn't read your post? Just because I don't say anything about it doesn't mean I glossed over it. It was just kind of a meh point. Both sides are rather hypocritical so pointing out something like that is kind of moot.
