Hard to believe it's been almost 7 years now. I still remember seeing it on the news at school. I was in my "Computer Science" class in 10th grade at Business Careers High School here in San Antonio. Early morning, class had just started and we saw it on the TV. I remember shortly afterwards the teacher turned the TV off as all the teachers it seemed had been told to turn it off to avoid a panic and to try to keep teaching. I remember thinking that this can't be real, it couldn't be.
I remember my mom freaking out when I got home and she said she almost came and took me out of school as apparently a number of people though were thinking the same thing.
7 Years...still hard to talk or even thing about for many. 7 years and we're still fighting the fight...

Personally, I watched the 2nd plane hit live on TV...I was getting ready for school and come down and my step-dad was watching the TV coverage...I ask "oh, what movie is this?"
"It's not a movie...some jackass hit the one of the twin towers in NY with a plane"
"Oh...wow....." and then I see a plane come in from the side of the screen, fly behind the towers, and I was waiting to see it come out the other side, but was greeted by a fireball instead.
I was pulled outta school later in the day, once it was realized it was a terrorist attack....we're in the shadow of the Anadarko Tower -- the tallest building between Houston and Dallas, and we were worried there was a chance this was a multiple-attack circumstance.
