Skervy, you are complaining about a ping of 10-14? Shit man, I am in Florida. I get pings of 50-70 to the TTP servers, and never have any lag (unless my girl fires up her P2P shit). Your ping shouldnt really hurt your FPS. I just try to have a reasonable ping (less than 70), with no loss or choke. I still get an average of 50fps with detail on high.

I was having disconnection problems a while back with my DSL, to the point I was gonna switch to cable. I solved the problems by upgrading the firmware in my router (DLink Gamerlounge with GameFuel) and the problem went away.

My area already has the Fiber Optic DSL, but I am moving in October and will not be in range. I may switch to cable, but I too am worried about the loss in my gaming. I always say, whatever is cheaper is best.
