You are taught something you will never use
I'm sure MANY, if not, all of you... have had a class(es) which you are taught something that you will NEVER use in real-life.
For instance:
In one of my Programming classes for Computer Science, we are using a program called Alice. It's a programming software put together by Grad students and professors from Carnegie Melon. Only problem is.. It doesn't use C++, Python, or any other programming language that is used. It uses Alice. It's OWN fucking language.
What the FUCK am I supposed to do with this shit. I mean I understand the prof's purpose of using this software (getting us used to the layouts and basics of programming). Which yes, helps us... But not in the way that I want, ya know? Am I making sense?
I want the REAL shit.
