Give a shout to a product that actually works.

I got one and after getting my dogs nails clipped at Petsmart, I began using it for maintenance. It is bad ass. One of my dogs has black nails and it is impossible to tell where the nerves begin, so we take him in there and I suffer while he howls on each nail.

You might be able to pull it off with a grinder from the shop or toolbox, but the hum of the appliance isn't bad at all. I know wheelgrinders can make a bit of noise when running so take that into consideration. Takes a little bit of time to get the used to the noise of it.

Anyway, I dont own stock in the company or anything, but nail trimming on the dogs is a sore subject around my house. If it is in your house, you might want to think about it. Most of the 19.99 products on tv are shit, but this thing works great.

BTW - the little wheel on it will need to be replaced. I am going to check home depot to see if I can find a similar size, otherwise I will be stuck buying replacements. Still worth it to me.

That 23lb monster in my avatar hates having his nails cut, and he is really nervous all the time. I would imagine getting close to him, and especially his paws, with any sort of buzzing, vibrating device would give him a heart attack.

Nonetheless I have considered getting this product.

I have 2 dogs but they are outside dogs so I don't trim their nails as often as I used to when they were inside all the time.

I've never heard of this product before, I'll have to check it out.

On the subject of pet products that flat-out-work - the Furminator.

That thing gets more hair off of my dogs than I ever thought possible.

It's just flippin insane.

If you have a dog that sheds or a dog that has a coat that gets too heavy to be comfortable in summer, I suggest the furminator.

I checked out pedipaws.com and saw the product and thought "Boy, that looks like a cordless dremel with a sanding wheel attachment...

so I went to google and typed in dremel and a bunch of auto-fill options popped up and one of them was "Dremel dog nails"
