exactly thats why God needs to bailout the banks of hell so they open up the credit market and the people of hell can get credit. Otherwise hell will have no jobs and people in hell can't work, so they won't be able to afford there torture and then the devil can't torture anyone so he has to go out of business and then what happens to hell?
Though i do here they are having an election down there, and its getting pretty heated. Right now its between a young guy who cursed and hated his parents but died because he had hope that the thug would change and not shoot him. Fighting him is a older gentleman that died of a heart attack due to his mavrick ways of fighting against the laws and the bible. Supposedly many are saying the young guy doesn't know enough about hell but others say he can help hell become better and prosper and create better hell school so the child can learn to torture the souls of sinners better. But Joe the convience store robber doesn't like the young guy because if he wins and joe steals over 250,000 dollars for the convience stores he will have to pay more in taxes, and Joe doesn't feel thats right since he went through the effort to rip off all the 7-11s in hell.

Without some all knowing being that helps/protects/is with you in times of despair and loneliness.
I was also really good friends with this almost pro skater named uriel, when we would skate he would always try to preach to the other skaters etc about god, and how great he is, but he had faith, and most of us didnt. He was able to put his faith into something he doesnt know or has never known, and that is the difference between me and him.
Ive asked for god to be in my life, ive been willing at some point, but not anymore.
Sorry if any christians are offended by my stance, but life is different for everyone, and shit happens. We are alone in this world and its up to us to make it better/worse for ourselves, not some spirit that may or may not exist.

Re: God vs. science
Ru, opinions on religion can, and sometimes do change. Agent just told a story about that.
Myself, I just can't accept God in a logical sense. I can't bring myself to accept something on blind faith alone. Closely examining, and questioning your faith should be encouraged, and If I have to force it, that seems wrong to me.
I don't discount God's existence, but I don't accept it either. My mind is open to the possibility, but I have yet to feel it ring true. I appreciate learning, and studying the bible, as it's a fascinating work even without faith. I've never prayed in the few very hairy (life or being crippled/death) situations I've been in, so I think the only way I could accept a divine presence is through greater understanding, and logic, not that it's a guarantee. I strongly doubt I could ever take the bible as literal, or visit a church every week, but a faith in a divine power manifested as God?... That's possible.
The closest thing I get to a feeling of a greater power is being either way off in the mountains, or on the coast away, or at least removed from anything sullied by man. I can wander, and bask in the glow of nature all day, and come back as happy, content, and fullfilled as anyone. That's my Sunday ritual, as long as the weather is at all agreeable... Keeps me sane, really.
In any case, if the bible verses explaining that the unknowing will not be punished are true, I still think I fall in there. Reading the verses is not enough for true understanding. I live my life with a good sense of morals, and strive to be a positive influence on the world around me, giving more than I take. If I'm not classified as a good person, then a more than fair portion of the Christians I know don't make the cut.
