This is pretty dang funny...nice background shot, Gov. Palin
Skip ahead to around 2:10.
This would be equally funny if it were any other politician, and I'm sure that it's happened to other politicians, but it's hilarious none the less.
I will say though, that knowing how cameras work and knowing the fact that a person was carrying that camera, I honestly think it was completely intentional for the shot to be framed that way.
Look at the center of the frame - it's right between the Gov. and the turkey guy...the camera guy totally did it on purpose, lol.

This was the lead story on The Rachel Maddow Show last night. It sickened me that they would do this to Palin.
Anyone that has been to Alaska knows that it's an earthy place with earthy people. I don't know what MSNBC's point was in airing this "backdrop" as news. Whatever it was, it reminded me of a PETA ad and turned me off. :P

Yeah... you know what? Turkeys die... thats what happens. I like eating meat.
I don't like seeing animals die but whatever... That wasn't that gruesome even, from what I could see the just slit the throat and let the blood drain. You couldn't even see anything....
Much fuss over nothing.
