Thread: They send the wrong delivery!!!

So I ordered Pizza Hut tonight because me and my little bro have the house to ourselves. Ordered two Large Stuffed Crust Super Supreme pizzas, and the delivery takes an hour. When it gets here we pay the guy the 31 bucks for the pizzas plus a 5 dollar tip for the delivery guy.

We wait a few minutes let them cool off and then open them and when we do we have one of the pizzas but the other is a fucking medium plain peperoni pizza that probably was one of the 5 dollar pizzas (the supreme is about $14 each in a large box, and it says on the receipt we were supposed to get the 2 supreme pizzas.

So I call and talk to the nice lady who answers (I was nice to her, not her fault) and she gets me her manager who I get to get mad at (but not in a hurtful way) for having incompetent delivery boys who give me the wrong pizza. So they are right now sending out the second pizza and they said we could keep the other free of charge for the mix up.

Anyone else get this problem as often as me? I will go to nice restaurants, fast food places, drive throughs, and other pizza places, and this is almost guaranteed to happen 5 out of 6 times. It really pushes my buttons when this shit happens.

In foresight, maybe I should have went and talked to Tick about my problem and see if he has any advice before I posted this. :8 TICK!

usually for me the biggest problem i run into is i swear i think the fast food workers spit in my food. because no matter what fast food place it is, i ALWAYS get my food with no lettuce. For some reason the shredded lettuce at most fast food places makes me sick.

People do fuck with your food, it's a fact of life if you're going to purchase a meal from someone getting paid minimum wage.

As far as the delivery driver thing goes though...

I used to work delivery for a pizza joint while I was in college. All I can say is don't blame the delivery driver if your order is wrong. When we got busy I wouldn't even see the pizza, it would just be inside a heatbag already with a ticket on the outside. We grab the bag and get back to our cars... There isn't time to check to make sure everything is right, that's the cook's job.

They go through hell for you to get your hot pizza in 60 minutes or less... deal with some of the biggest arrogant pricks that feel you are a servant to them and should clear the table... and people that will flat out lie to try and get a discount or a free pizza.

The pay was great for a part-time job, I could take home $150 bucks on a friday night working a 5-6 hour shift... but I would still NEVER go back to it. The pay wasn't worth the shit you have to put up with from unruly customers.

i can believe that, so far no-one i've known has ever told me it would be a good idea to look for a delivery job

same here on the first part, i much prefer picking it up over delivery, plus you don't have to worry if your in the delivery area.

Thanks for that Quick, I always assumed that the delivery guys looked at the pizzas to make sure or something other, guess I shouldn't have been quite as arrogant about it.

delivery! ha! whats that? I always have to go pick it up. down side to living just out of town.
I go to a place called big lou's here in san antonio, best freakin pizza around. It's best to eat there... they have a full service bar!
