Mole hill into a mountain of shit?

This thread is for their book club and they should expect outside comments. This is the forums.

This thread is not for suckas like you coming in and wanting to start a flame thread by posting whatever that jibberish was you posted.

I came in said book club is lame but have fun and GL

You came in this thread spewing/spreading all that affirmative propaganda then tried to sugar coat it with a quick thought of the book club.

    Let them have their thread.

Jason, I was admonishing you for dragging our clans name into something, AGAIN.  You and Moto both.  The statement you just put forward, is, well, silly...for lack of a better word, I am not sure I even understand it.  Can you tell me what HRD has to do with books on economics?  Probably nothing. If what I wrote is gibberish to you, perhaps you should try to learn to read at least at an eighth grade level. As far as what you wrote..who is flaming? I was responding to you, and that initial response was not insulting or flaming to say the least.

And I am serious about the book.  I dig economics, I think that in order to secure an environmentally sound future, environementalism has to sell, because in the US, we talk with our dollars.  For example, I spend extra money to buy biodegradable, earth friendly products and organic foods.  In the 8 years I have been doing this I have watched the varieties of those goods increase by orders of magnitudes, and their prices come down sharply.  It is due to the power of consumer dollars; the manufacturers will do what makes them money.  At the same time I am not for a free for all, I think some markets NEED regulation, and sometimes the government needs to step in.

Now I know consultant is on the other side of the fence politically, he may also be considered relatively expert in the area of economics considering that is his degree field.  So yeah, my primary intent in posting in this thread is to respond to his suggestion for an economics book to accompany my 4 others.  But at the same time, I also see you badmouthing a group of people I am part of with no pudding to your argument, so I need to respond.  I gotta add, at least Moto's comment regarding our clan made sense, I bet his rebuttal will too.  But I just don't get what you were saying there bud.

You, Jason, are the definition of a Troll. If you do not see it in your post, read what you wrote again. And if you STILL don't see it, read it again until you do.

Now that that's out of the way. No, this book was not the one my stepdad was reading. Do you have an idea of what the next book is going to be so I can get a head start on trying to get it . I like the economics idea so lets keep it at that?

well if others would respect each persons opinions instead of calling the mtrolls and making this into a facist thread where opposition is not allowed then MAYBE we wouldn't have any problems.

Instead consultant and others want to turn it into OMG, youz no agree with mez?? TROLLZ!!!!!!

Lastly, Consultant if you have said economic degree then shouldn't you know its highly disputed the effect of the new deal and if it helped or hurt? though i forget i can't ask because you wern't there so you can't talk about it since you HAVE TO experience things and can't make opinions based off of research

DROP it red lizard, if it is really that important do what they said and go to PMs. I could care less about that argument.

I am going to see if I can swing by a Barns & Noble this weekend and pick this book up, if I can't, I will get it at Book People in Austin while I am up there next weekend.

Re: TTP Book Club (Unauthorized) Book 1 - "Common Sense Economics"

lol  I had not noticed Con trolling...I thought that was only in reference to someone elses tirade.

I still do intend to read that book.

    What book can I recommend...

Clinical Neuroscience; Lambert, Kinsley.  Absolutely arousing (get it? )

Seriously, for a good read, go to my D&D blog at http://not-your-base.com/oreth and follow the gripping tales of the heroes as they fall into a plot and quest to save the Oreth from the Enclave of the Chosen.  Book 1 (find it in the left hand menu), The Heroes of the Quarry (title is still subject to change, it is a nickname the locals hung on the party after they cleared a bunch of monsters out of an old quarry in the Serpent's Spine mountains) is complete, but still being edited.  Please feel fre to leave comments to help improve the readability of the story.

I am serious, good read, we need advice.  If you are into fantasy, help make me famous, it is my world as I am the DM, and the book is being written by my brother in law.  I am planning to make source books for the Oreth later. It will probably entitled "Chronicles of the Oreth" with subtitles for each book... we are open to suggestions.

does it require knowledge of D&D to understand it?
