...people dont properly title their posts!!!

90% of re-posted links and videos can be prevented, I believe, if people just TITLE THEIR POSTS CORRECTLY!

For example, I posted a video of some crazy hovering missile killer after it had already been posted under the thread title....and I shit you not..... "0.o"

WTF does the Zoinks-eyes have to do with the video? I generally dont read threads with nonsense titles and the zoinks-eyes qualified. So I reposted with a more explanatory title and was shamed.

Here's another example...

The Zero Punctuation review of Left 4 Dead was posted, and re-posted...because some dolt put the title of the first video post as "...it's official...".

What's official? That you didnt pay attention in Language Arts class in how to property title your work?

The second, and more appropriate post, the one I read, was called "Zero Punctuation Review." then some smirking asshole walks in and gives the smirking face and links to the first and horribly titled "It's Official..." post.

Don't try to make your thread titles cliffhangers. Relay information, tell us about your post in the title!

Only you can prevnt double-posting.

Hire a staff who can or will at least kiss your ass enough that they'll say they can. Seriously, you've got to think ahead on these things. Campaigning for the next election starts in as soon as the new president is sworn in.

As the perpetrator all i can do is laugh at my own silliness. Of course '0_0' doesn't tell you about the MKV, and i have no real defense as to why it was posted in such a manner. The only thing i can think of was that i was awed by the display of a floating hovering machine that had the potential to spout missiles in every direction, and that the only manner of describing my reaction was indeed '0_0.'

Is that fair? Does it tell you anything about the post at all? Certainly not.

Jesus fucking Christ. We're all different, we all think differently and act differently and have different interests, not to mention different ways of expressing ourselves. Double posts (or more) are just a fact of life. Relax and enjoy the irony. If I bothered to read every last post in here, I'd be ...bigdog... Since I'm not, I read what looks interesting, or what is rapidly gaining replies the most, or where every just happens to be at the same time. There ain't enough hours in a day to read every last thing that's in here, unless you have to because you're tasked with doing it as a high, and even then, I don't think they should be forced to read every last everything. They have lives too.

Chalk it up to shit happens, and laugh at it, then move on.
