It is funny how I fit that description except for the bad haircut (I don't get any haircuts, just let it grow out), and I actually have a lot of real life friends, some of them are fellow gamers also, but they refuse to come over here to TTP and check the servers out.... :5

BTW, that makes me 50% of her description, lol.

But ya, the computer gamer is hard to tell nowa days. I would also like to point out, console gamers should not be counted in the group Hardcore gamers.

Mud.... she was right about the CS gamers. You should have explained that you also play BF games as well. Would have gone a long way.

In general, no. If someone can make money playing Halo 3, though, I'd count them as 'hardcore'. I'd also ask them if there might be a more productive use for their talents.

As for gamer stereotypes... what is this, 1995?
