Thread: you try to enjoy a meal

and people ruin it.

I was eating out at a semi-nice restaurant (McCormick and Schmidts) under the impression that the bill was being split. So, with that in mind, I decided to order the table some escargot since it sounded wonderful. Then my father says he's paying and gets angry at me for making him look bad so I can't order everyone a nice appetizer to start off the night.

I end up having some North Atlantic Salmon flown in from Canada stuffed with blue crab and brie, which was very rich. However, I couldn't enjoy it with something like wine or a nice, very stout beer to counteract the richness since my dad said the classic, "Oh, we're not old enough to drink at this table." Bastard...I don't have opportunities to eat at decent restaurants much where I go to school since there aren't any. I wasn't the one driving either.

And then my grandfather complained that his steak was too hard to cut. I ended up cutting it for him, and it was as hard to cut as butter with a warm knife. His girlfriend wouldn't shut up either; always with the "I don't like to gossip, but gossip gossip gossip."

I'm going to go kill things with explosives right now. :5

My uncles including my new step-uncle are awesome though. One taught me to fish, the other how to play tennis and basketball, and the step-uncle taught me how to shoot a shotgun.

Wow, talk about a buzz kill. Thats why I like my parents, they don't care about those stupid little things. Honestly, I don't care about offending family, if they piss me off or do some stupid shit like yours just did, I would tell them instantly to F off and I would walk out of the restaurant, and walk all the way home, and I have done it before too. My family members outside my house hold also spend a lot of their time drunk too...

Delicious. OH and this wine that tasted JUST like grape juice. It was weird.

You know what is creepy? One of my good looking cousins asked me tonight at the family gathering for Christmas eve how old I was and I told them 18 and they went "Ahh, your legal now" with a kind of wink in the way she said it. Kinda weird too, cuz I kinda cringed on the inside.

That's kinda sick Corpse. Be careful with that one.

The worse part is her boy friend was sitting next to her and wasn't paying attention to what she said either, that's what really got me.
