We end up having a roast on Christmas day for my family. How about yours?

But my extended family is a bit more crazy...my aunt and uncle definitely have Chinese take out....weirdos...

This year I gave my family the choice that I would cook each whatever they wanted. My wife and I both settled for roast leg of lamb and the boys both wanted dad's famous home-made hamburgers.

It's ended up being easier than it could have been.

Desert is lemon meringue pie and trifle.

It was just my Lady and I, so I made a vodka & portabello marinara with gimme-lean brand soysage (almost linguica right?) over rotini pasta with some fresh shredded grana parmesan on top. Simple but delicious and meat free.

I'm having roast with the parents cuz i'm back at their place, but if i was down at my apartement i'm living in while going to college it probably would have been either 2 packets of ramen or two of the chow mein dinners. Hince i chose roast and non-meat
