TTP/BIGTEX bonfire

Thought I'd post this up here if anyone else was interested in coming to our shindig this weekend. Saturday, January 10th

I talked to Tractor this morning to remind him of the bonfire coming up next weekend. Here is the schedule as planned.

wake up
Start briskets
Prepare for people

set up tents
Shooting range
Light Bonfire
Eat, drink and be merry
camp

I need some approximate numbers so i can gear up for beer and food. I would love to see a bunch of you guys out here at the party. There are more people coming just for the party, but my main interest is kicking it with you dudes. Same goes for Tick

This is shaping up to be an epic bonfire. Video and pictures will be taken to show all you chumps what you missed out on. 8)

Hmm, where abouts? I know Tractor has been bugging Clarence to meet up. I could maybe show up Saturday night for a while if it's not too far.

Funny fact: my other most frequent forum is dropzone.com (skydiving forum). Their "off the servers" forum is titled "the bonfire," after the long-standing tradition on real dropzones of hanging out and drinking beer around a bonfire at the end of the night. When I saw your post about "the bonfire" in "off the servers" I got confused for a second.

The bonfire will be held at our folks' ranch just north of Bryan/College Station.

9 1/2 hour drive for me... tempting... who all is coming?

Anything planned for Sunday? Cause I wouldn't be able to come Saturday night, no babysitter for the kiddos, but I could swing by for a bit on Sunday, course ya'll will probably be all hung-over lol, anyway, let me know who all is gonna actually be stayin the night, cause it may be worth it to stop by for a bit Sunday and say hi, since it's only like an hour from me =)
