Sure thing Moo,
Fortunately, the anonymity afforded on a public forum where names and faces are changed to protect the innocent, allows me to share with you a little bit about what's going on without legal ramifications.
First, about me... I've been an indepedant contractor to video game companies around the US for the last few years. I've worked on several titles and a couple that have not yet been released. My job was to help create the game during the Design Document phase. For those of you who don't know what that is, its the blueprint for software programs. I specifically worked on game balance, and how it relates to game interaction. That's changed.
I am currently in the process of acquiring private financing to fund the first AAA title of the company I own and operate. I'm sure you want to look us up on the internet, but certain legal issues are not resolved concerning trademarking and name availability, and until such time as it is appropriate, it will remain anonymous. Trust me when it becomes viable, I will shamelessly promote my company on TTP.
Believe me when I say this process is a very difficult thing to do, and is by no means a "sure thing". That being said, I am looking for talent even know, because I know how hard it is to find. I've seen people comment in their posts as to their professions, and some are computer related. However, unless I ask, I'll never know. Of course, we have posted on Monster and Career Builder, and for the most part, I know what I'll get from those websites. This question is simply an "anyone out there".
Bigdog and I have briefly talked about this, and we're in agreement... TTP can help tremendously by providing the means to connect professionals. Which is important, as the game we've designed is extremely ambitious and requires top level talent. Why not post in a forum this is made for gamers, by gamers?
I hope this answers your question, Moo.

How much longer do you have in school? And where do you go to school?
