    VEGAS BABY, VEGAS!

So, it is my 10th wedding anniversary coming up here on October 12th. I decided to take the little lady to Vegas. We are staying at the Paris hotel and are looking for some suggestions on stuff to do from anyone who has ever been to Vegas as this is our first trip. We are going to see Blue Man Group on the 11th because we love their shows and are very excited about seeing them again. There is a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon that looked cool, but its like 400 bucks a ticket so I dunno about that. The hotel room looks awesome and we don't plan to leave it all that much if you know what I mean, but aside from the non-stop freaky honeymoon-like sex and other filthy degrading acts at the hotel room, the Blue Man Group show and losing a lot of hard earned money at gambling, what other suggestions do you guys have for things to do in Vegas?

Cool Bueller, have fun and congrats. Once suggestion dont lose all your money, and spend more time with her than at the craps table. Tends to piss em off.

We're so screwed there Sheriff, she likes to play craps just as much as I do, lol. We played at the casino over near us last summer I think it was and she rolled for over an hour and made many, many people rich at the table, just not us becase we are so cheap we only bet 5 bucks at a time because we are cheap asses, lol. We did alright though as a couple of the guys that she made so much money for tipped us a couple hundred dollar chips! Woo Hoo! We are very excited to go to Vegas even though we are not really big gamblers, its just the kind of place you have to see at least once, and we opted to do it now before we have kids.

Buller, before you leave, call the paris and request a "strip view" room. They will tell you that it cost an extra $25 dollars a day or some shit but it is worth it. The Paris has the best (better than the bellagio) views of the bellagio water show. There is something about "staying in your room" while that show happens every 30 minutes. The music the lights, it is great.

A great cheap place to eat, the chinese/breakfast resturant in the Barbary coast. Its in the back and good.

If you all like sports..the best book is in the Bellagio. The great thing about the paris is you are right in the nexus of the universe. At the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas blvd there are some of the best casinos.

Take a trip through the fourm shops at the ceasars and take a gondala trip at the venition.

stay away from the souther part of the strip, unless you want to ride the NYNY roller coaster. The luxor/mgm grand/excalibur are all garbage.

If you want to streach your money and your drinking, play at smaller nastier casinos. like barbary coast, imperial palace/boardwalk. (they may have already torn down the boardwalk thought) these places have lower table limits and the drinks flow faster at these places. I WOULD NOT LEAVE THE STIP. Hooters and the hard rock are not worth it.

    GOod luck have fun

Sorry, have never been there...but at least you'll be able to do both...spend time with your wife, and at the craps table...

    Have fun...

Blue Man Group = The Shit

Dude, Blue Man Group Chicago = $50 ticket

Briar Street Theater in Chicago only holds about 300 people so they interact with the audience more.

Front Section Seats twice = Freaking Awsome

I suggest the Stratosphere Tower with those wicked rides on top of the needle. Sadly never been there.

Blue Man Group Las Vegas $400 ticket = Ouch!!!

Nah, it wasn't that bad for the tickets, it was like 200 bucks for the pair, center orchestra right behind the poncho section. We're going there Oct 11th. I saw them in a small venue already, I wanted to see the big Vegas show!
