I got wind of my cheese just before the economy took a dump. I feel kind of bad for those coming out of school in the next couple years... It's going to be tough to say the least.

The key here will be adaptation. Figure out what is needed or what will be needed and become that piece of the puzzle.

Who moved my cheese, Mavericks at work etc... etc...

Books that executives tell you read because they read them and think that now they are better than everyone else because basically they don't know what the hell they are doing and try to manage from a book instead of the real world. I've read both - common sense and over rated. I'm only part of this POS time in history because douchebags trying to live beyond their means and greedy bastards trying to screw the douchebags.

There are no notes I need to take except on where these Oil CEO's live so I can pop a cap in their ass.

Hopefully I will be getting my BA in another year or 2 and some advice I've been told is to just try to prove your worth and show that there is something that you can do, or do better, than the next guy.

Also, it helps to build up your networking skills now if you don't have them already. The more people in the field you know, the better your chance of getting a job once you graduate.

At least that is what I've been told, I hope they just aren't lying to us.

For real. We are nearing a depression and these people are still making hundreds of dollars everyday, if not every second of everyday, sitting on their rich fat asses.

Well I guess I included the Oil execs but mainly the CEO's of the greedy bastard financial firms selling all the crap CDO's that plummeted the world and US economy in the first place.
