moved to jobs.
that's some serious drama bullshit. typical mismanagement affecting the lives of everyone around them. Something TTP hates above all things.
I'd say stay on the payroll till it's over, but never stop, ever, looking for the next gig. Get a gig....walk on em.

Re: Layedoff, Hired, Fired then Hired again?
Sort of surprising update:
Well the time came today for the majority owner to talk to me about the situation:
He pulled me in his office with the HR guy and explained to me the situation. I could tell he felt genuinely bad for me and embarrased about the situation. After the semi-long explanation he told me they would have to terminate me as an employee.
However he then stated he didn't want to leave me without a job so told me he wanted to retain me as a contract worker until I would have the opportunity to apply for the position.
He also told me I have rights and could act on those rights if I felt that I was done wrong.
I told him thank you for the opportunity and that I was not the type of guy to sue, especially when I know there was no malacious intent to me.
He thanked me for understanding and said he would be looking forward for me to re-apply.
So it looks like things might be ok afterall. The sad thing is all the trouble they've had to deal with because of one disgruntled woman. I've tried to put myself in her shoes but in my opinion she has deserved her fate. All stemming from when she invited a co-employee to her house. She's a shit stirrer in my opinion and I only hope justice will prevail.
It's also too bad too that because of her poor judgement, and the actions of the guy who supposedly SH'ed her, two innocent people lost their jobs (her old boss and the other owner).

WTF! I bet shes one of those people that stand in their yard whenever the neighbor has 2 people over waiting for a reason to call 911
