    Mexico close to collapse?

Texas -- Mexico is one of two countries that "bear consideration for a rapid and sudden collapse," according to a report by the U.S. Joint Forces Command on worldwide security threats.

The violence in Mexico has escalated to a heady pitch over the last nine months and the baby that's cooking in our southern neighbor's womb is high on coke and has a 5 foot razor sharp machete.

Decapitated heads are left at police stations and mutilated bodies are hung up in shopping centers and on bridges as warnings from the drug cartel's public relations department, grim reminders that all is not well in the land of margaritas.

The Government insists the snake has been smashed with a big hammer and covered with a brightly decorated sombrero and that the Mexican authorities are in control of the Drug fueled violence. In other news, the hit tv show "Law and Order" not to continue filming episodes about little kids getting raped, because it puts immoral thoughts in the minds of pedophiles.

Haven't we been waiting for this for the past, oh, I don't know, 150 years?
When I want on a tour in Ensenada, the first thing they pointed out was a 4 million dollar house at the top of some hill, saying thats where the leader of a drug cartel lived, but the police could never catch him in the act...brilliant stuff going on down there.

since when have they ever had their drug problem under control? Part of me thinks we should just go in and take the place over like we should have in the Mexican American war. But that would just cause additional strain on us. Just put a couple tank divisions on the border. Stops the illegal aliens and drug runners. Sounds like a good plan to me. :9

Saw a news report that said that the Drug Cartels are sticking their fingers into the US and getting revenge on owed debts from folks in places like Phoenix. I wonder if we will have to play police on this one as well and pull more of our military out of the fight in Afghanistan in order to secure our own border.

Members of the Texas national guard not on duty over seas are being mobilized in El Paso, we are already doing it.

I used to go to the valley (Rio Grande Valley) all the time when I was younger......we don't go there anymore. I go to school with a lot of people from laredo, roma, Rio Grande City. It never was a great place, but as long as you minded your business no one bothered you. I'm not surprised by this.

    Re: Mexico close to collapse?

There is a vigilante group in Nuevo Laredo that kills a drug cartel member every hour and said they will continue to do so until the police do something. And the police can do nothing. The police have skipped town because they just get murdered. No working for the cartels no nothing, exterminated. Its a freaking civil war down there already.
