You fall down...

I was mowing the yard a few nights ago in my flip-flops and they have no traction...so I was on the side of a little hill in my yard, slipped on some oak leaves and fell right on my ass, all 200+ pounds of me, right on my right ass-cheek while my right hand was holding the mower.

I thought nothing of it...my butt hurt a little, but otherwise, felt great.

Then I woke up the next morning and my whole upper back was out of whack, neck so sore I could hardly move it.

I'm getting old...and need a massage. Any takers?

So... you were mowing....in flipflops. I'm going to guess you were also in shorts.

You ever seen a rock get flung out of the back of a mower?

Falling on the ass hurts! I was at the light table a week or so ago, in my normal stool. Was talking with friend (also delivery driver), and did some leaning back in the chair. Long story short = FAIL.

Flip flops are not good lawn mowing shoes, well flip flops are also not good "charge down steep dirt hills on beach cruiser" shoes. Sigh.... why do they have to be so easy and comfortable!

At least you guys dont have to worry about snow covered ice, man that shit sneaks up on you and fucking hurts when you fall.

I use shoes when I mow a lawn, but I don't wear pants. I've been hit in the shins by flying rocks plenty of times, doesn't hurt all that bad.

Weed-eating is what hurts worse when you're wearing shorts.
