Yeah the shoot is kinda out in the middle of nowhere. You can miss the turn off from the Dixie Hwy out of Louisville if you don't watch for roadsigns as they don't mark the way because of political protests in the past. I usually look for the strip club (looks like a dive, i've never been in) that is near the turn off that always has a 'welcome knob creek visitors' sign.

If the weather permits I will most likely bring a small grill with me to cook hot dogs. If any of you folks want to meet up, we could have lunch together, just let me know and bring a chair!

I just google mapped how long it would take me to drive there

1,773 mi – about 1 day 2 hours

Looks like I won't be going I will have to keep it in mind for next year though for sure.

Oh yeah, those strip clubs, Thoroughbred's 4 and 5. Seriously they're about a mile apart with only trees between them. Pure trash. Dixie Hwy in the city is risky enough for strip clubs, much less out there.

Yeah, looks like a place for meth queens to earn some cash for their next high. Still though, they always have a sign and since I figured out the distance from there to the turn off to Knob Creek I haven't missed the place.

I'm still getting the tailgating part of my visit there figured out, so if you guys do want to meet up for lunch let me know as it will be a lot cheaper than eating at the range cafeteria.
