'stros are the COME BACK KINGS!

we are NOTORIOUS for doing shitty, then about halfway through the season, getting our asses in gear and going to the playoffs....

it's just always close as to whether or not we do good enough the second half to make up for a shitty first half of the season >_<

I find myself heavily invested in the Rangers offense this year, so it looks like they are my AL team. Mets are my favorite team, though. Got that relief pitching taken care of...going all the way this year!

Me too Pimp. I'm always interested in the Met's because they had a great team during the Cardinals run in 06'. We'll see if the Phillies can do it again, but not likely.

    Any Padres fans in here?

They get my vote for worst team in MLB this year.

My main guys off to great starts, Soriano, Hanley, Dunn all going deep!! Lowe had best outting of all baseball so far. Pimp i let ya know how delgado and the stud left fielder i picked up do this year!! Just went blank, oh well. I am a huge Tampa Bay fan through my fantasy league, got alot of those guys. Boston Redsox and Marlins too.

Mariners fan right here. Things are looking up with a new management that actually knows how to evaluate players, and let's not forget the progress of Felix Hernandez. I can see them compete for an AL Wildcard, but nothing else since they're still in rebuild mode.

Its gonna hurt watching the Twins this year, even worse than watching the Vikings. Who knows maybe they'll surprise everyone like they did last year with almost winning the division when everyone up here didnt give them better than 3rd in the division.

i've heard expectations that Lopez may have a big year this year.

For me i'm a Giants fan and gota love our pitching. Like the KNBR morning radio guys said though, and i agree, is the Giants suck when it comes to F.A. Lets pay Renteria 18 mil a season, never mind the ffact The O.C. is just as good defensively and at this time better on offense and Oakland got him for like 4 million a year IIRC.

    My Picks

    AL EAST: Tampa Bay Rays
    AL Central: Chicago White Sox
    AL West: L.A. Angels
    Wildcard: New York Yankees

    NL East: Phillies
    Nl Central: Chicago Cubs
    NL West: L.A. Dodgers
    Wildcard: New York Mets

No idea who will go from the NL to the WS, but i got the Rays from the AL. I want to go Mets but they got the SI Cover Jinx and the fact they choke every year going against them.

Last nights game sorta sucked, but I think the Twins can take the division this year, as long as Gardy realizes that Cuddy is not as good a hitter as Delmon Young...seriously, we traded Garza away to get him, and now he's not going to play? I mean, Cuddyers been with the Twins for awhile, and Gardenhire loves him, but he's too hit and miss for him. Play Young, hope he has a better season than last year, and as long as we can get Mauer back relatively soon we shouldn't do too badly...I hope.
