Because public transportation is Socialism in disguise, and that is just a clever ploy of the Socialists to destroy Freedom and wipe the word Liberty from all dictionaries and bibles throughout the world, beginning with the US then the Caymans and then the world. They are a sneaky lot they, first try to lure you in with bedazzling dances that are so entrancing that they make even the most stiff upper lipped conservative woman show a little bit of ankle while doing the cha-cha. Next thing you know, you are subsidizing the poor and elderly with their discounted rides, whereas everyone else is paying FULL FAIR. They even try to tell you where the buses and train are going to stop.... So long freedom of choice.
