So Rock, I guess "He is an asshole because his views are different than mine", and you if you and Consultant hold these same quoted views, then the two of you fall into my "asshole" category as well.

Re: President Jokes @ White House Correspondents Dinner
Like I've mentioned in the past, people such as he, hannity, O'Reilly, etc...are pretty extreme, but that doesnt mean they dont make valid points from time to time.
I dont agree with a lot of what you say. However some things you and I agree on....does that make you an asswhole in my book for the few things we do disagree about? No.
I'm sure a lot of people think to one extreme of the aisle or another, but no one in their right mind will come out and speak that way, because of reprecussion. These people do...and they get flak for it...someone's gotta be all crazy and over-reacting.

My point, however, stands - you are assigning Rush a motive for donating to charity...as if he has no feeling or concern for leukemia or veterans issues - debasing his charitable gifts to tax deductions.
Know who else does that? Assigns motive for actions based on nothing but speculation? Deranged women and harpy wives.
Sorry man, but you telling me and everybody else here definitively what Rush's motive is for donating to charity - is a chick move.
Get married and experience this deranged illogical assigning of blame and you will see what I mean.
But I do share your sentiment for bacon...I too wish he was here so he could tell me I'm right.
No offense, hawglabia.

And Jason, I think a few million of us want him to fail IF his desire is to move us toward a European style of socialism/lite...just guessing. But hey, if thats your bag - pray for success.

I dont agree with obama on a lot of things and I do not agree with the extreme right.
Call me a independent leaning left.
What I just wanted to point out is that in this country if you talk shit expect it to come back to you.
It amazes me that some people have the mentality that they can go around pointing fingers talking trash and expect nothing in return. Then when someone fires back they start crying.

Hell, I am with you but more leaning right...I dont like the extreme left or the extreme right - I'm more of a Libertarian leaning conservative.
I think on that stupid quiz I got 60/40 in favor of conservative. Darn my views on Pot and gay marriage. I dont fit the mold of today's neocon.

Celtics can go to hell
also Limbaugh makes me want to bash my head into a wall repeatedly (and have almost done that on occasions when he came on the radio), not as terrible as Monica Crowley but still. Just like there are a few left siders that revoke the same reaction (one i can think of is slipping my name). One of my problem with the likes of Crowley or Rush if they are just stupid, if your going to be bias as hell at least be absurd and funny with it (again one i remember on Air America that was like that, very for the left but was funny).
If they were worth the time, to me, they'd make you laugh at their stupidity, not make you want to smash your head into a wall
