    Mold in the dishwasher

Since it's just me and my girl, we don't go through alot of dishes to be able to run a full load. So it's senseless to be running the dishwasher and I end up doing the dishes by hand twice a day. Well, we use the dishwasher as the drying rack. The other day we noticed mold in the dishwasher, any idea on how to get rid of it?

I would put some bleach in and run it. To keep it from happening again try leaving the door just a tiny bit ajar to let it air dry. It is actually mildew like in your shower I am guessing. Can you use your heated drying cycle without running the wash cycle? Do that every now and then- that would probably help too.

Clorox clean up does a pretty good job on mold.

We get mold on our camper's awning all the time. Tilex mold & mildew does a great job on this.

Yeah, and leave it open when you are drying dishes.

Our front-loading washing machine is left open because of their reputation of turning into stinky messes - leave the door open, no problem.
