The humor of Polls
If the questions are carefully chosen the result will be what the poll taker wants it to be, watching the polls today has made me very aware of how real that is. It is infact very disturbing as there are 2 polls that were asking essentially the same overall question, if I had voted in them my votes would have been contradictory. Something one really has to keep in mind while taking a poll, how much is the poll affecting your opinion due to the limitations the poll taker has put in the questions.

it can be the case but at times polls can give you the same answer, knowing the polls you are talking about, my votes ended up being the same just worded differently.
Still not even a political science thing, i can guarantee you at least 90%+ of Marketing Majors would know how to create a good poll (due to the fact for any marketing research, you want to make sure you remove any chance of influences the vote. Influence it and you have a good chance of having your product flop because you "created" numbers of support and not true feelings)
Plus, anything i've learned is a closed ended question will always give you little insight. I.e. Should abortion be legal? Sure it will tell you if people think it should be, but not why or if only in some cases but not others etc etc.

xplodr's poll was made to make people look stupid. My poll is asking very simple questions. Would you slay the CT, or would you not.
3 easy ones. 3 hard ones.
Xplodr's poll was 2 stupid choices and TTP's creed.......of course the creed gets 98% of the vote. Such is why it was so god damn infuriating that peopel jump on it like "oh look at the poll, the community has spoken".
come on.
