Here's a plan of action to break the ice.
Take a month off from what you have been doing. Forget the jets/tanks/helos/toys, and find solid squads that communicate. Make yourself medic or support.
Do nothing but save the day for your squad leader and squadmates. Whether reviving them, or helping kill the enemy.
Play for them and them alone.
Communicate nothing but relevant intel that helps them.
Spawn green at all times.
Help your squad leader keep tabs of people who aren't sticking with the squad.
30 days to a better you, and a better TTP.
Then go in the BF2 forum and ask for feedback.
You can't go wrong.

dude...TTP only asks the same as your parents did (or should have)...give it your BEST. All you have to do is TRY, squad up, cut out the useless chatter, there are times for it and there are times to leave it out. As long as you're trying to help out your squad, help the team succeed at the goal and at least have some sort of mature bone about you, you're fine.
I haven't played with you either, but TTP isn't about turning away folks. Take the 2 bans and learn from them...life lesson my comparative anatomy professor taught me: Learn from that first mistake, make the same mistake a second time and consider yourself a jackass.
It doesn't take long to figure out what TTP is about, i learned the first 5 minutes I started here 2.5 yrs ago, with SJT telling me I sucked for running over him with an APC on Shuhia Taiba. Everyone is willing to help each other out, but you also do need to disregard the harsh criticisms, some people might say stuff that'll get your feathers ruffled up but, sit back and take it for what it is..don't let it get to you, 99% of the time it gets misconstrued since some of the barrage of criticisms come during heat of battle and the person stating them is frustrated or under fire.
Man up yo!
