Thread: Your family or friends drink your dr. pepper

When I have soda, I like to get the Coke that is imported from Mexico. They use real cane sugar instead of corn syrup. It tastes different...like I remember when I was a kid.

Yeah, Pepsi is making this stuff now called "Pepsi Throwback" - same idea, real sugar, no corn syrup. I wonder how good it is.

Cool...never heard of it. Do people have to "smuggle" it in? Or are you allowed to run across the border and freely bring it in?

Smuggle? Here you can buy them at Wal-Mart.

They used to be $1.00...they recently raised them to $1.20 though

There's two Mexican restaurants here that sell them as well. I think they're $2.20 a bottle.


....and yes, you can tell a difference. They taste awesome.

I remember when my ex-wife bought her dad a bottle. The minute he found out it was from Mexico, he poured it down the drain. :5

Also, some of the glass bottles are from the 1980's.
