Re: Wal-Mart censorship
I think the issue is that it still sucks and there is a double standard with the medias they carry.
I bought the original slipknot cd once it came out, and it was the edition with 'me inside' on it. My mom freaked and made me return it even thou it was edited. fortunately at that time CD burners were not as popular so I was able to return it

i get screwed in i like having the physical cd (and hate itunes) but in this small shit town Wal-mart really the only electronics store, and the only one open late (which fits with my sleep schedule)
The good thing with one here is they price match, thus they put the ads for the other food stores around here so i usually go there to check the ads then go to the store that has the best sale on what i want

Re: Wal-Mart censorship
I bought a Chevelle CD from wal-mart about 2 years after they started censoring CDS and my CD wasn't censored.... Though I don't think they were anywhere near big at the time or maybe cuss words are accepted if you use them in the right way? Who knows.....maybe its just major bands that get screwed with wal-mart and not the minor ones.
I also agree with it not making any sense but usually the first thing brought up is violent video games....why can't we cover movies too? The very first type of media to start killing, blood, guts, and gore....Its family fun all in one. As someone else said, its their store, their rules.
