Thread: Wal-Mart censorship

i know this has gone on for awhile but just read an article and about it and made me feel like asking the question:

What do you think of Wal-mart requiring cds to be censored to be sold in their stores?

For me i understand its their choice and the say they are "Family friendly" but i find it odd they don't want to sell a CD with a few naughty words but have no problem selling Grand Theft Auto in their stores, or a graphic game like God of War etc. Lets not forget i don't see them selling only censored videos. Hell i bought un-censored Road Trip at a Wal-Mart before.

So what makes sex/violence/cussing in video games or movies okay but not Music? i don't get it

there is, usually see it on the right lower corner.

Personally i think its jsut a way to make it look family friendly "look we don't sell Cds with bad words!" even if they sell worse crap

Kind of like low prices always yet only some things are actually low and other are inflated

where do you go when you need a glass at 3:00 AM? and yes, i got an atreyu CD...and it was censored, pissed me off.

My local grocery store is 24/7 and sells kitchenware.
