    I wound up getting a P250 40S&W Compact for $600 at a local dealer. Work was crazy the last two days, I barely made it to the dealer before he closed on Friday :5 I dont think I can really beat that deal though. Ammo was $27 for white box and $35 for gold dot HPs. Is that you guys are seeing pricewise in other places? Now to figure out which range to use :9

    Very nice, I can't wait to hear how it shoots! And $27 for 100 WWB is a pretty fair price for sure.

    Speaking of ammo, do you guys do anything special storing it? I was thinking the dryer the better, and was looking at getting some kind of air tight box with some dessicant packs to drop in.

    It should be fine at room temperature. I've never had a problem with ammo going bad, but you should oil your firearm regularly.

    If you keep it in a climate controlled house it will last for decades. If you keep it in a garage or a shed, it will last for a couple fewer decades.

    Modern ammo is very resilient as long as you keep it pretty dry.

    I could go, but that is the day Arma 2 comes out... prolly only going to be messing with simulated firearms.

    If you need help with searching for something though it would be a good excuse for me to go. My wife works right next door to it.
