Dave I'm Sorry for the Day you had............ You can feel free to vent to me anytime you'd like ! Without people like yourself the world would be worse off. You do make a difference ! Sadly here in Florida we All Too Often hear the same story ! So much so that Florida started a law that every new Rental house built with a pool has to have a childproof fence around it and alarms on doors leading to the pool area. However this only applies to Rental houses. It should have included all Houses. Dave chin up my friend......... you first responders have a special place in all our hearts !

I worked my first drowning 2 months ago, it was very hard to have to work a three year old. It happens far to often and is a very hard thing for families to deal with. It affects a lot of people, accidents happen but many accidents are preventable.

to make a note though, since it wasn't clarified, just because the mother fell asleep doesn't make her a bad parent.
It is possible to basically pass/black out (no idea what it would be considered). Trust me i had it happen one day after almost no sleep.
