In short if a country dislikes good for them get the fuck over it because we aren't going any where. We will continue our global role regardless of what they think or want. That includes those here that think we should mind our own business because they can not see the bigger picture.

That same arrogance as you put it is what made people leave their home country and start the colonies. It aslo made this country the worlds largest super power. It also comes with the world largest humanitary aid on the planet. So maybe we should mind our own business right.

Grow up life isn't that easy. You don't change just because some people don't like you. We have our role to play some like us for it some don't. I don't remember anyone bitching when we entered WW1 and WW2. I also don't remember anyone bitching as we dropped yet another billion dollars in aid to some country that doesn't effect us one way or the other.

I think your interpreting it to say what you want it to say. As i read it in short it says he likes freedom to include freedom of religion and doesn't want to be killed just because he chooses a different religion. As for a beheading being the same as electrocution and lethal injection. All I can say is where the fuck do you come up with this garbage?

No Persian what I AM Saying is that ...... no matter what or how I feel THEY don't care its convert to Islam or smite their necks. They are the ones that want to Everyone live under 9th century law. I Don't. BTW tell all the Innocent people killed on 9/11 that they should "feel" and 'understand' why these terrorists feel the way they do about America........... I think you would be laughed out of the building. Don't get me wrong here I don't harbor any ill will towards Any religious group whether they be Christian Muslim Buddist or if you're Purple with pink polka dots. But I do draw the line when someone says you have to change to fit the way I want you to fit. I know they are putting their lives at risk. I have a good friend who is from Iran and he knows that his family (that still lives there) are at risk All the time. MOST Iranians want the Mullahs out and they look Towards America and want what We have .........Freedom to live as They please not the way some Mullah wants !

Probably the same place I come up with such "garbage"..... Because I read it the same way. BBM is speaking of why people in Iran "hate us", and goes off on his tirade of people chopping off heads, and religious conversion by the end of the sword and then he carts out the tired old "they hate us for our freedoms" bullshit..... Nevermind the fact that Iran had a healthy democracy until the US and Brits supported a coup so our corporations would have control of the region's oil. I don't recall any of thier leaders ever saying that America is evil because we are free, or because we don't behead people, or because we have christians in our country (I would like to add that there are many christians in Iran, and they aren't being told to convert by the end of a sword). In other words, his arguments are ignorant at best.

Hawg if you think that other religions aren't persecuted in Iran.......... you need to speak with my friend his family is christian and they are Too persecuted there! You are ignorant to believe that it doesn't happen because you don't see it on CNN ! That is precisely why my friend Left Iran after the Shah fell. He wanted to practice religion the way HE wanted not some Mullah. I agree that we did prop up the Shah and we were wrong to do that. Iran did have a healthy democracy and they Want that again! No where did I say that the Iranians hate us cause we have freedom. They in fact look up to us for Those Freedoms because they want The same for themselves !
