I don't understand how this is racism... It's poking fun at "gangsters" from the "hood" as it were... not Africans in general.

I don't think I'll ever understand the whole "racism" topic though.

it's strengthening the stereo type of african americans being "gangsters from the hood".

I like how they make Skids and Mudflap are supposed to...somehow "imply darkness and or nastiness."

Skids - brings to mind skid marks = shit stain. shit = dark.
Mudflap - mud = dark

it wouldn't mean anything by itself, but mix it up with their mannerisms, speech and looks....and you got racism.

Of course you do...because there is always injustice and there are always victims and somebody is always putting somebody else down with malicious intent.

Or, maybe a few writers thought they could get some cheap laughs out of creating a couple of urban characters.
