Lots of people prefer Anime because of a multitude of reasons, including (but not limited too) -

1) They're not real, they can do whatever you want.
2) They're not real, you can do things to them that you wouldn't do in real life.
3) They can be any age you want them to be.

I realise 3 will spark a little heat, so let me point out that I'm not saying underage sex is a good thing, merely that some people like anime because thinking about underage anime girls isn't illegal, wheras underage real girls is a different story.

Personally, I'd agree with some of the other posters. They can be hot, depends on the artist and context, and various other reasons.

Drawn girls are just that, drawn. I will admit that the artist are very skilled in their art but I can not be attracted to drawnings....now what comes from that at conventions....

I don't really watch anime, as for them being hot? I will just say the artist of some the pics on here are very good. Now looking at a pic of a real girl and getting excited isn't really much different than looking at one of the anime pics. So in defense of the anime guys they are both 2D and although the real chick in the pic was a real person you are not seeing her in front of you as such. So whats the difference if she was a real person or a drawing if you can't feel her,smell her or touch her. As for me I will have to take my wife instead.
