Does my landlord have to provide me with a heating and / or air conditioning?
The landlord must provide you with heat. If the landlord leases you a unit with an air conditioner, then the landlord must maintain the air conditioner.

How the fuck you manage to turn this thread into computer hardware and hempseeds is beyond me. Do you wake up each morning and pull out your "looking for an internet fight today" checklist?

Also there's the factor that the evaporator is a few yrs. old that means it's a SEER 10 and the condenser was replaced last summer it's a good possibility it's a SEER 13 this could also pose a prob. although I haven't had any probs in mixing the two. But it could give a point of argument with the landlord with either the tonnage or SEER factor causing sys. inefficiency. Finally there's this http://www.peopleslawyer.net/
