A road in Cambridgeshire was shut when a pigeon flew into a double-glazed glass window.

The pigeon flew into and cracked a window on the top floor of the land registry office in City Road, Peterborough, on Wednesday.

A fire service spokeswoman said people inside the building called the service because they were worried the glass would fall and cause injury.

Firefighters closed a section of the road and removed the glass.

In other news PETA is now protesting Glass, saying it murders innocent animals etc etc.

A pigeon didn't close the road. Broken glass did.

but if the pigeon didn't fly into the window, the glass wouldn't have broke thus its the pigeon's fault.

Granted if PETA gets involved, they'll blame the glass maker, or the building or w.e. because it "confused the bird" and they'll close down a bunch of streets protesting the building, etc.

Just like IIRC they got all pissed off when Johnson hit a bird with a pitch on accident

Nope, they sent him some contraption that captures flies so they can be released later...

PETA can protest glass.

Personally, I'm going to sue the family of the pigeon for making me late to work.
