Isn't Farve like 60 years old by now?

I mean, I remember kids in middle school running around with Farve jerseys...

Favre is great... he's still better than half the QB's in the league. But... he's definitely lost a lot of polish. And now he should probably stay in retirement. He'll never want for money, so why prolong it?

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

I agree, Favre has been washed up for a while... and never thought he was that good, IMO. Was back in the day, but not for the past 2 or 3 years.

Texans got it this year... our D is stacked.
Untill Andre Johnson breaks his ankle in wk 1

    :P

This is totally the right decision for Favre. I think it was foolish to try and play for the jets last year, let alone do something this year.

    You're $10 worth of confident?

Saints will have a better record than Houston this year, and their defense will surprise a lot of people.

With all that power in the AFC, Houston wont make the playoffs. The other teams are too good.

AFC? can even shorten that to AFC south, as there is the Colts, Titans, and Jags.

And the jags are the best of those three >_>

not all in the same season though.

But yeah Jackson might be able to control the ball, but hes not that big of threat as a QB. IDK if you watch a whole lot of Vikes games, but it is sad to watch him be the QB. The man is gunshy, if he throws 1 just 1 pick, then the game is over for him and there is no coming back for him. That one pick blows his confidence, he starts second guessing the routes and the plays and is afraid to throw the ball which leads to all of the following: loss of yards due to a sack, fumbles, picks and bad decisions. Its kind of hard for Mr. Peterson to do his thing if hes facing a 2 and 20, or 3 and 25, with the defense knowing they arent gonna throw the ball. If you havent noticed AP dont do too hot when there is 8 or 9 in the box, something the defense can do when they know the QB has no confidence. And its not like this is subtle or anything, its blatantly obvious. BUT on a good note, prior to that 1 pick, hes a solid QB who looks like he has been around the block a couple times. Im not saying Favre would be the second coming or anything, but he would have been better than T Jack......
