The closest one to me is in Orlando and like 4 hours away and I am not going to Georgia. Thanks for the suggestion though.

The Fudd was one of my favorite burger places in the Bay Area... the one up by me here in the valley puts some bad dry rub on the meat though. I haven't been impressed.

I'll keep this in mind if I ever wind up there again though.

I havent been a fan either, I got drug there by coworkers. I didnt even know they had ostrich and buffalo. Im no anti-beef hippy by any means, I bought it on a dare. Very pleasant surprise, Im going to see if I can get ostrich at the grocery store now to make my own patties at home.

Grocery store might be hard-pressed to have ostrich.....What I recc'd is going to a real meat market (my parents actually have one right next door to their business :-P) And asking them to have some shipped in for you.

Also, by doing that you can pick their brain about how to handle it, best ways to cook it, etc etc etc.

I've never had ostrich but I might check it out. If anyone lives in the DFW area and wants to get some ostrich meat, there is a butcher in downtown Plano that carries it as well as buffalo and gator.

Mmmm, love me some deep fried gator tail!!!

We used to have a Fuckrudders around here, but they got shut down for making people sick. Apparently they didn't realize you aren't supposed to serve ground beef bloody. An ex of mine got some pretty nasty food poisoning after eating a chicken sandwich there, too.
