Coaches poll is out

Florida was an obvious pick for preseason #1. National Champs, basically all starters returning, etc... And I'm calling it out now, OU will make it to another BCS bowl game, and they will choke.....again.

I think LSU can manage to get into a BCS bowl game and definitely have a shot at the title, if they can do two things: Not have the Quarterback turn the ball over every other drive and if they can beat the Gators in Death Valley (which they have done the last 2 times Florida has come here).

I also expect great things from Snead and Ole Miss.

USC, as always, is high in the polls, but like every year, they will lose to a middle of the road PAC-10 team and miss out on the title game, and wind up playing an overrated Big 10 team at home in the rose bowl then boast about how they should have played a Big12 or SEC team for the title. ***yawn***

If notre dame doesnt win at least 9 games this season, Weiss should be fired. With that schedule and Klaussen still at QB, they will most likely rob a team of a BCS spot...a team that will most likely deserve to be there more than the Irish, but hey, they are Notre Dame, and get what they want.

If Texas can play decent defense like they did last year, then they should be ok in the Big12. Only worries there are OU and a very good Oklahoma State team.

Penn State.....not entirely sure why they are in the top 10, but they'll be weeded out eventually.

If Virginia Tech can get by Bama at the beginning of the season, they have a clear road to a BCS bowl game. That Bama game will be difficult, however, as the Tide is ready to bounce back after an embarrassing performance against Utah last season.

Oh yes, it's college football time..... I'm almost positive I just jizzed in my pants.

Death Valley is a super bitch, and Im sure they will make it a night game. Its no coincidence we have won all our NCs in an even year, odd years we are @LSU. This year its 14-0 or its a failure with what we have coming back, so thats a lot of pressure on these guys, especially on the road.

My buddy is a huge Gator fan.. His dad played football for them back in the day as a TE. He would seriously suck Tim Tebow off if he could... Hell, he even named his cat Tebow.

LSU usually wins theirs on the odd years. We get Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas at home. This year though, we play on the road against Bama, Ole Miss, and Georgia, so it'll be a tough one.
