Those damn Insurance Companies!!
Obama is calling the insurance companies the enemy and calling them out left and right to the public. Blaming them for everything. Yet they have behind the scenes negotiated with the insurance companies. If the insurance companies will just take the "Public Ridicule and be the bad guy" Obama has a sweet little deal for them according the the current Hlth Reform bills.
The current law requires 80 of all medical bills to be covered by your insurance. After office visit copay and premiums.
However the current wording of this great Health Care Reform will lower this to 70% or 65% in the house bill.
So that 1000 dollar bill ya you would owe 350 instead of 200. This will make people leave thier insurance and turn to the Goverment option, because its free. At first it will be sweet and free till where fighting in line pushing old ladies out of line for flu shots. Dont think they wont get it to a Socialized Health System depending 100% on the Goverment one way or another. All smoke and mirrors, 2000 page bills no ones read, except for the Acorn or some other group he promised somthing to for their support that WROTE THE DAMN THING. And its all such an emergency, it has to be passed yesterday!! Hell i just want to know what is in it and who wrote it? No one knows shits amazing, not even the politician puppets, they have even admitted it on TV in interviews.
Cap and Trade, Junk Food Tax, Green Jobs, Health Care Reform, YOUR TAXES WILL GO UP GUARANTEED! NOT JUST THE RICH HE WILL HIT EVERYONE SOMEHOW...... I JUST HAPPEN TO HATE OBAMA PELOSI AND REID AT THE MOMENT, I HAD MY TIMES WITH BUSH, BUT THEY RUN THE SHOW NOW AND THEY ARE RUNNING IT ALRIGHT, RIGHT INTO THE FUCKING GROUND!!! Anyone seen the deficit clock? It is set to explode.....

Nothing in life is free.
/paraphrase(quote will get exact later and give credit to author)
Half the country works hard and has much taken to be given to those not working.
Those not working see no reason to begin working.
Those working hard have no reason to work hard as it is taken and given to those doing nothing.
The hard workers stop working and the country busts.
/end paraphrase

Re: Those damn Insurance Companies!!
Who writes these bills?
The dreaded section requiring end of life consultation was written by our local Senator Earl Bloomenauer (he is a great man). Not by...who did you say? Acorn? I believe these bills are written by legislators based on input from various committees, public hearing, letters from constituents and and direction from the president etc. But ultimately, the legislators write them. And many will read a 2000 page document. That is really not so big when you consider how the formatting works...lots of line item lists and small paragraphs separated by spaces. You oughtta see some of the EIA and EIS I have seen... they take up boxes not binders. If you leave gaps in rules people exploit them.
The picture you paint above is hyperbole, plain and simple.
And will you all please stop calling it "universal healthcare" please; unfortunately, it does not even come close. I for one am in support of pure public option.
Speaking of hyperbole, I love how Stewart tells it like it is and all she can say is "well you're wrong" while he is reading from the bill and citing facts:
