I don't much like dem governments touchin mah internets! I did not award dem any interweb points!

I don't like giving the government more control. I think this could lead to some hidden agenda, but who knows?

I just think it is funny that it says they get control of the internet. It reminds me of that South Park episode where the entire internet was located in a cave on one router.

This is like the "torture" memos.
They just want to make something they already do, legal, in case there are problems later.
But it could easily be seen as the start of that slippery slope.

Seeing as they know they can't. This bill could just be the first step in controling. I perfer not to give them a step. As for the freedom of speech lets see how could it possible fall under that? how about emails.

Want an example of how the government takes a step then keeps going. How about taxes. We functioned as a nation with no income tax for 100 years. Then the fun began. Or how about just looking at the irs guidelines.

How about the 1000's of laws that aren't worth the paper they are written on. Something is dramaticly wrong when to make an attemp at this law requires 55 pages of nonsense to go with it. But whatever you want them to run your life go for it. Me i like my freedoms and think we should go back to what this country use to stand for.

I believe that when a law is passed, it is LAW. I also believe that in order for your example to be BELIEVABLE, you ought to give an example of how "it is bad". How does it "hurt millions of people"?

An example of who it hurts are you kidding? Say they decide to turn the internet off one day. Millions of people will be without porn. Some could of been 2 strokes from done. What if they are chronic masterbaters or addicted to porn. Now your messing with people that have a disease.

As for it being tyranny. Hawg you know damn well he meant it in conjunction with everything else the government does.
