Thread: Which is better Battlefield 2 or 2142?

I am going to have go with BF2142 as being the best game currently, It's just so extreme not in a way BF2 provides.

Well, perhaps I shouldn't base my decision on what I thought of the game at a LAN, but I wasn't all that impressed with 2142.

4 kits? WTF? Although the customization was pretty interesting.

EA would do itself a favor by just making some more maps for BF2.

Also: don't get me started on the in-game ads.

I'd say they're both pretty different, so it's hard to say which is better... one's definately more arcade-like and unrealistic, while the other is almost like a war simulation... but not really.

I'll have to hold mah vote till Christmas, as I'm hopefully getting Bf2142.. all I've played so far is the demo, which I had a blast with.

I have played both......I like both, but if I had my rathers, BATTLEFIELD2 is the M A N ......its more of a realistic game with some intense battling going on.......Its total combat.....guess where my vote went. I agree, I WANT MORE MAPS.......somebody needs to get off their duff and make us good citizens some big ol maps.....we need more maps.....

BF2142 = BROKEN

2142 levels the playing field up too much for inexperienced or low experienced players

Battlefield 2 all the way baby!!! I think its better b/c of the fact that it deals w/modern day combat. Who cares about the future, we are in the now and Battlefield 2 is where it's at man!
