Yeah, my sister read them too...the reason there's no Lafayette is because in the books he was the one found dead in the car at the beginning of the season, not that fake witch person...

yup. When that happened, I remember my fiance saying "Damn, I really liked lafayette, I hoped the wouldn't kill him." I actually like his storyline now.

I want to make a .gif out of the scene where Andy and Jason get taken over as they are trying to infiltrate. When Andy gets turned he then punches Jason right in the face to turn him as well. I love how he came back up with that look on his face and said, "FUCK YYYEAA." Would make a funny gif..

I actually really didnt like the books, it was a really boring read. And i read alot of paranormal romance. But i love the series True Blood. I didnt start watching it till this season. I have the first season on dvd that i got on a spur of the moment about 3 weeks before season 2 started and got hooked. I thought they ended the 2nd season well, and i definitly think Eric is the one who took him at the end. And sookie is soo gonna kick Eric's ass when she finds out.

In the books doesn't Sookie fall in love with Eric? I think I remember my wife telling me that...

Lafayette and Tara are both in the books, Lafayette just dies early on and is not a major character.

I moved to another state 3 weeks ago for med school and lost hbo in the process so I bought all 9 books last week and just finished with the last one a few days ago. The series loosely follows the books, but even if the series shows 1/5 of the shit in the books it will get way way way better.
